Yesterday was a bit chillier (ok, a lot chillier, and rainy, and windy) but that didn't upset me. Why, you ask? Because I got to debut my chic new H&M coat, that I'm absolutely in love with! I bought it thinking that I'd have to store it away until Fall...but luck was on my side as temperatures dropped.
We're back to sunshine and blue skies for the next while, which I am A-OK with, especially with the long weekend coming up! Do you have any fun plans? I'm going to see a Blue Jays game on Saturday. I also plan on enjoying a few patio drinks ALL. WEEKEND. LONG.
I've been wanting a pair of floral pants since 2009. I was living in Ottawa at the time, and went on a trip with my friend to Montreal. We clearly hit up the H&M, and a pair of faded black denim jeans with a yellow/orange/pink floral pattern caught my eye. I had them in my hands, ready to try on, and then my friend laughed at them and said they were hideous. Did I listen to my heart?? NO. I sheepishly put them back, and have regretted that moment ever since. Life lesson time: If you like something, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks...go with your gut, and rock it!! Fast forward to 2012...I finally got my floral pants!! (sadly though, not from H&M)
I was so excited to finally debut my printed pants, although I would've been way more excited to debut them 3 years ago when they weren't so in trend! (ok that's my last complaint)
The weather has been SO cheery as of late, so my outfit definitely reflected that. YAY for sunshine and being bright!!
YAY for shorts weather!! And YAY for funky blue shorts!! Ok, now that's out of my system, this is what I wore on Friday to bring on the weekend.
As you know, this year I'm the H&M Fashion Editor of the MMVAs. My commercial officially airs today on MUCH! So crazy! Be sure to keep an eye out, and you'll see I'm wearing these shorts in it. They're from the H&M Conscious Collection and I love everything about them. Especially the fact that they're eco-friendly.
I am also obsessed with my new H&M silver collar necklace. How cute?? I can't wait to jazz up all my plain shirts with it.
I'll try to post a link here later with the commercial, as well as another video I filmed that will be appearing on MuchMusic's website.
P.S. I'm being soooo eco-friendly in this post

Couldn't help but write the cheesy title...it just went so perfectly! It took some courage, but the other day I decided to go bare-legged to work, and I was fine! The weather is definitely looking up, so I've been taking full advantage.
I love the hi-lo skirt style that's been popping up, so when I saw this little number in the Queen West boutique I knew it would be mine! I paired it with a jean jacket and an H&M necklace to make it a little more casual, but still fun!
Stay tuned for a post on my new gig as the H&M Fashion Editor of the 2012 MMVAs. Fun Stuff!!

I have a thing for knotting my shirts. It's just such an easy fix for a shirt that's too long or too baggy. It's also just really cute! Now, I want you all to say hello to my latest addition from the Queen West boutique; my collared peach birdy shirt. It was the last one left in the boutique, so I knew I had to snatch it up!
I decided to mix birds with polka dots today, and I really liked the results. I'm telling you, invest in a pair of dotted pants, you won't be dissapointed!
On another note, this week I have some exciting news being revealed! Be sure to stay tuned, I'm so excited to fill you all in!
